P-26 Die Geheimarmee die keine war... Matter, Martin

1990 schlug der Bericht der parlamentarischen Untersuchungskommission wie eine Bombe ein: In der Schweiz kam eine illegale, schwer bewaffnete und unkontrollierte Geheimtruppe von 400 Mann ans Licht, eine Gefahr für die verfassungsmässige Ordnung. Ein Riesenskandal in den Augen von Politik, Medien und Öffentlichkeit. Die «Geheimarmee» P-26 wurde mit Schimpf und Schande liquidiert.
Entsprach das furchterregende Bild den Tatsachen? Nichts weniger als das. Die Einschätzung von 1990 bildet die wohl grösste Fehlanzeige in der jüngsten schweizerischen Geschichte. Ende 2010 ist die Schweigepflicht für die ehemaligen Mitglieder der P26 gefallen.
